In early 2014, a publicly accessible and free skate park with a connected youth center was built between La Paz and El Alto. The aim of the project is to give young people and children from La Paz and El Alto new recreational opportunities and to give them a new perspective. Even drug addicted teens should have the opportunity to skate in the Pura Pura Skatepark. Everyone should be able to participate, regardless of gender or socio-economic background. Among other things, skate-aid supports the Pura Pura Skatepark with safety gear, boards and hardware and, in cooperation with "Ein Welt Netz NRW" and the "emergency aid La Paz", has sent volunteers to the project over a period of several years.
