Lexware skate-aid-night 2024: Burning hearts at the 18th edition of the charity gala for the benefit of skate-aid. Münster's traditional charity gala achieves amazingt result for the good cause.

“Celebrate and support” is the motto when skate-aid invites you to the Lexware skate-aid-night in the festively redesigned Skaters Palace. The event, which has been sold out for months, was once again attended by around 250 invited guests from all over Germany, including many prominent “skate-aid friends”, such as actors Wotan Wilke and Sönke Möring, social entrepreneur Princess Eilika von Anhalt, musicians Christof Stein-Schneider and Christian Decker from Fury in the Slaughterhouse, Thomas D from Die Fantastischen Vier, presenter Lina van de Mars, artists Rob Draper (UK) and Inga Guzyte (USA), comedian Simon Gosejohann, as well as many other well-known faces. 

The welcome address was given by Christian Steiger, CEO of Lexware.

TV presenter Mara Bergmann charmingly and humorously hosted an entertaining and rousing evening. She also provided insights into our work and worldwide skate-aid projects, which uses the educational power of skateboarding to empower kids. 

On stage, the skate-aid team explained to the guests, among other things, the work with the children in the context of free vacation workshops and how the participating kids are empowered through self-determined learning in the skate-aid workshops.

Another global skate-aid skatepark project in Sri Lanka is already being planned for 2025.

The internationally renowned singer and vocal coach Pamela Falcon, together with the celebrated singer-songwriters

Florian Walther and Lars Fiero provided a musical highlight.

There was a surprise visit from carnival prince Sascha and his Prinzengarde, who performed “Tanz um dein Leben” (written by Henning Wehland).

The thrilling and spectacular GOP “Skipping Rope” acrobatic act by Anežka Bočková, exquisite culinary delights and of course the success stories from our projects put the guests in a great (fundraising) mood.

In the end, the result was well over EUR 100,000 for skate-aid. This means that the worldwide skate-aid projects can be further advanced.

Founder Titus Dittmann was very impressed: “People are enthusiastic about our mission and we are delighted about the appreciation and support for our work - so many burning hearts for skate-aid! We empower kids”
